Online Class – 4-5-2020 Palm Sunday

This Sunday we finish 1 Peter by focusing our attention on chapter five. We learn to be humble and to persevere in this chapter. Then we will look at the difference between a good shepherd and evil shepherd, which is a problem in abusive churches with abusive pastors
Last Sunday, we again had over 60 people join us electronically using “Zoom Cloud Meeting”. We will meet online again this Sunday, April 5th., at 11:00 AM.
We are considering hosting the class Zoom meeting from the church parking. If we do, we will send another email with instructions for those who may want to join us.

1. Search and install “Zoom Cloud Meetings” from your device’s app store.
Installing the app may take a few minutes and will require you to remember your app store password.
2. A few minutes before 11 AM on Sunday, open the App and click on “Join a Meeting“.
3. Enter meeting ID.

5. Your default screen name will be something like the name of your device. Please edit your screen name to be your first and last name.
6. Ensure “Don’t Connect to Audio” and “Turn off my Video” are both turned off (these both should already be off by default).
7. Click on “Join“
8. Then, click “Join with Video“
9. The first time the App is running, it will eventually ask you for three permissions:
Access to camera – Allow
Access to microphone – Allow
Send Notifications – Allow
10. Upon entering the video conference, you will also be asked “Use Internet Audio” or “Allow Recording“, which you should allow.
This session will last about 30 minutes. Kerby will have a short lesson and it will be great to reconnect, encourage and pray with our friends during this troubling time.
