Join us as we go to watch our very own Luke Wallace act in the musical comedy play “NATIONAL PASTIME”!
WHEN: Saturday, October 4th, 2025 – 2:30pm show
WHERE: Downtown McKinney’s Performing Arts Center Courtroom Theater 111 N. Tennessee St. McKinney, TX 75069 (right in the center of Downtown McKinney’s Square)ABOUT THE PLAY:
McKinney Repertory Theater is proud to be producing the North Texas premiere of National Pastime. This new musical comedy is about a struggling radio station during the 1930’s that saves itself by broadcasting games for a fake, undefeated baseball team … until the national press catches on. This fast-paced, hilarious musical is sure to be a home run!
Described as a throwback to a sweeter era of musical theatre, National Pastime is filled with toe-tapping numbers, romantic entanglements, and nostalgic charm. With themes of teamwork, integrity, and a little small-town magic, the show celebrates the spirit of America’s favorite pastime in a wholly unique way.
COST: Examine’s group discounted tickets are $23 each (including taxes and fees). We will have signup envelopes in class the next two Sundays for you to submit with your payment. Please submit your signup envelope with cash or a check payable to “Parker Eng”. You can turn them into Janice Cordell, Carolyn Reber, Carol Curtin, Carolyn Wallace, Jill Eng or Vicky Jayroe at the Examine Welcome Table.
DEADLINE TO REGISTER & PAY: Sunday, September 14th by the end of class. We have to turn in all the money to the theater by the middle of the month so this is a hard deadline.
We look forward to sharing in this event with you and supporting our faithful class member Luke!
