So bring WARM clothes to change into (and out of afterwards). There are plenty of restrooms near the ICE entrance for you to change before and after. \nI highly recommend the following:\n• Double layers of socks\n• Full fingered gloves\n• Disposable Hand Warmers to put inside your gloves!!!\n• Ear muffs\n• Extra layers of warm clothing (thermals) \nThey will provide a parka for each person entering\, but it only helps so much. The warmer you can make and keep yourself\, the longer you will be able to stay inside the ICE exhibit and enjoy the ice slides and sculptures. \nPARKING:\nYou will need to arrive no later than 2:30pm to the Gaylord Texan in order to get parked and make your way to the Convention center. Parking for ICE is on the opposite side of the hotel so you will need some time to walk to the convention center side. You will also need to make enough time to change into your warmer clothes. \nParking is a discounted $10 per vehicle with validation at ICE (normally it is $29 per day for parking at the Gaylord). For those who want and can\, we will carpool from lunch to the Gaylord. \nLUNCH:\nSince this Sunday is also 3rd Sunday Lunch\, we will be going to lunch at Dickey’s BBQ (across the street from Prestonwood) right after class before carpooling to the Gaylord Texan. \nCHRISTMAS AT THE GAYLORD:\nFor those who want\, we will spend some time after ICE to walk around the Gaylord Texan to view the Christmas Decorations.
